| Michele Gastl (born, in 1967, and based in Milan, Italy) has an understated way of describing his own work. Indeed, his advertising and editorial credits speak for him as an outstanding master of still life photography. He shoots with the same ease and passion celebrated ad campaigns and elegant catalogues, as well as creative editorials for leading magazines such as Amica, Rolling Stone and Men’s Health. Among his clients are internationally recognized names such as Gucci, Valentino, Montblanc, De Beers, Ferrero, Ferrarelle and L’Oreal. Giving a unique sense of preciousness to everyday objects through his images, Michele pursues, reveals and appreciates the beauty of life. Recently his daughter’s passion for nature, gave him the input and a different insight to start a personal research on plants and flowers for an upcoming exhibition.He’s represented in Milan by Studio Immagine, in Paris and Hong Kong by Photographers & Artists, in New York by Aer Reps and in Hamburg by Katinka Krieger Reprasentanz. |
